About Popok Tri Wahyudi

Popok Tri Wahyudi (b. 1973) was born in East Java. He studied painting in the Faculty of Fine Arts at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta from 1992 – 2001. A member of the Apotik Komik visual art group in Yogyakarta, the artist explores the techniques of cartooning and drawing in his paintings. Popok’s works are usually inspired by current social and political events.
