Arif Fauzan (b. 1979, Perak, Malaysia)  graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts  (Painting) from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 2001.  A figurative artist, his passion was first ignited in his early years of art school by his teacher, artist Awang Damit Ahmad. There is a strong sense of theatricality in his work and he almost always uses women as protagonists in his artworks.
