About Najib Ahmad Bamadhaj

According to Najib Ahmad Bamadhaj (b. 1987, Malaysia), painting describes the concept of a wall, translated with paint on canvas. The wall is the main image, whereas the subject on the surface is the secondary image. He completed his Diploma in Fine Art from UiTM Melaka back in 2008 and then pursued a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (Sculpture) from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) Shah Alam, Selangor, in 2010. Najib’s works explore the destruction of animal habitats as a result of human greed and the obsession with money and development.
