About Azam Aris

Helmi Azam, also known as Azam Aris (b. 1983, Perak, Malaysia), graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam in 2007. He was offered an artist residency at HOM Art Trans in the following year, which led to his first solo show titled “Float”. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions and international residency programmes including ACME Studios London Residency, UK.
